Welcome to the website of our building renovation company specialising in the Alpes-Maritimes: Loicy Travaux Renovations! Today, we are presenting one of our recent projects in Antibes, where we were able to showcase our expertise and our passion for transforming and improving living spaces.
A bespoke renovation
On this project, we were called in to modernise and optimise an interior space:
- Plasterboard installation: we first installed a metal framework on the ceiling, then fitted plasterboard to provide a perfectly flat surface ready for high-quality filling and painting.
- Sound and thermal insulation: as can be seen in the first photos, mineral wool insulation panels were added to the suspended ceiling to improve the room’s sound and thermal insulation.
- Lighting system: we incorporated recessed LED light fittings, offering both a clean design and optimal lighting. The photos clearly show the suspended light rings before final installation.
Meticulous finishes
Once the plasterboard was fitted and the lighting cables concealed, it was time for the finishes:
- Filling and painting: to achieve a smooth, even finish, we applied a skim coat to all surfaces. Several coats of paint then enhanced the walls and ceiling for a bright, modern interior.
- Floor renovation: the existing floor, with its marble/travertine-effect tiles, was cleaned and refreshed. The aim was to preserve its charm while blending it harmoniously into the room’s new, clean-lined look.
The photos show the transformation: the interior openings (niches or glazing) are now well defined, the renovated walls painted white boost the overall brightness, and the LED lighting adds a contemporary touch to the space.
