A project in the heart of Valbonne
On this project, the main objective was to renovate a bathroom area and carry out a few additional improvements:
- Building a plasterboard partition: we installed a partition to clearly separate the shower area, while ensuring better sound and thermal insulation.
- Fitting out the bathroom: installation of a new shower tray, with tiling on the walls and around the shower for a finish that is both attractive and durable.
- Modernising the finishes: filler, paint and wall cladding to refresh the whole room.
In the first photos, you can see the preparation of the substrates and the step-by-step progress, from fitting the rails to installing the moisture-resistant boards (green boards, ideal for wet rooms).
Impeccable finishes
Once the structure was in place, the Loicy Travaux Renovations team focused on delivering high-quality finishes:
- Tiling: to protect the walls from moisture and give a contemporary look, we chose large-format tiles in a neutral, elegant shade. Finely executed grout lines ensure maximum watertightness while showing off the surface.
- Waterproofing and connections: we checked every connection, from the mixer tap to the shower column, to guarantee optimal, leak-free operation.
- Painting: a smoothing skim coat was applied to the untiled areas before several coats of paint, chosen in a light shade to make the space feel larger.
The photos clearly show the transformation: the bathroom is now bright, practical and pleasant to use.
