Today, we are presenting a laminate flooring installation project in Nice, where we transformed several rooms in a flat by giving them a modern, elegant and easy-to-maintain floor covering.
Installation in line with best practice
For this renovation, our teams worked throughout the flat, taking care to follow every step essential to a durable, high-quality installation.
Preparing the subfloor: first of all, we carefully prepared the existing floor to ensure a flat, clean surface. An insulating underlay was then laid over all areas, providing optimal sound and thermal insulation while protecting the flooring from moisture.
Choice of floor covering: for this project, we used 8 mm thick Artens Forte laminate flooring with a Fast Click click-fit system. This natural oak-effect covering brings warmth and brightness to the rooms, while offering excellent resistance to everyday wear.

Meticulous finishes for an impeccable result
Once the flooring was laid, it was time for the finishes that make all the difference:
Fitting the skirting boards: we installed skirting boards to match the flooring, cut to size with a mitre saw for perfect corners. These finishes elegantly frame the floor and conceal the expansion gap required along the walls.
Continuity between rooms: the flooring was laid continuously across the different rooms, including the bedroom with blue walls and the kitchen, creating visual harmony and making the space feel larger.
Respecting existing features: in the kitchen, we worked carefully around the existing elements (units, radiators), ensuring precise cuts and clean finishes.
